Pantene Hair: Loose Curls

December 20, 2013

Remember on Tuesday when I shared my holiday hair inspiration with you? I really love the look of loose curls with a ton of shine. Today is part two, and I am sharing how I accomplished the look for my company holiday party with Pantene products

As you can see in the photos, I start out with my hair dry. Before I blow dried my hair, I used Pantene Triple Action Volume Mousse to get some oomph going. My hair is naturally super straight, so any volume I can get is helpful. Once my hair was dry, I sprayed the ends with Pantene Heat Protection Spray. Then, I clipped up the top section of my hair so I could start from the bottom and work my way up. On the underside of my hair, I select 1 inch sections, and curl away from my face. To set each curl, I quickly sprayed it with Pantene Shaping Hairspray (which I love because it is a loose hold, not too strong). Even if the curls look overdone, I let them set and try not to run my fingers or brush through them. After I complete the bottom section, I clip all the curled hair back in a low ponytail.

After the bottom section is complete, I let down the top section. I curl the left and right side sections (away from my face), then end with curling the back. I gave my hair a nice all over spray with the Pantene Shaping Hairspray and let it dry. Then I used an itty little drop of the Pantene Smooth Lisse serum on my fingers, and ran them through the curls to help them soften up and separate, and tame any frizz or flyaways. Lastly, I used the Keratin Gloss Mist to help make my curls shine. 3 sprays was all it took for it to look glossy. I really love the way it turned out, and it stayed curled all night without falling!
